Lori Beck, RN – Primary Assistant to Dr. Schaefer

Dr. Schaefer has an invaluable staff of medical and administrative personnel who keep his practice running smoothly at Midwest Plastic Surgery.  His primary assistant is Lori Beck, RN. Lori started off as a cardiac nurse taking care of critically ill patients with complex heart conditions. After raising her two daughters, she reentered a life in medicine by joining the plastic surgery field. Today, she has over 20 years of medical experience. Lori has excellent, in-depth medical expertise as well as a compassion and a great ease with patients. She not only assists Dr. Schaefer in preparing patients for surgery and assisting with their recovery, she also serves as his care coordinator and scheduler. As a critical asset of Dr. Schaefer’s care, all of Dr. Schaefer’s patients get to know and appreciate Lori.
