Dear Dr Schaefer, Amber & Staff,

Here I am in Texas for a week standing at the water & relaxing. It is providing a great opportunity to do a lot of reading on breast cancer & to reflect on my last two months. My constant thought continues to be how much I appreciate the medical team I have supporting me. A simple thing that I so appreciated, Dr. Schaefer, came from you at the close of my appointment the day before surgery. You squeezed my shoulders and said, “We’ll take good care of you!” What a reassurance one that I have truly felt. Your staff continues to be kind and caring, thorough & professional. Many around me commend me for my positive spirit. I know that part of that may be my nature. However, a larger part of that comes from the confidence I feel from just the short time I’ve been in your care. It gives me confidence to face the future.
